Babes Go Bare For Cancer is a non-profit project which aims to both change the way we think about beauty and raise $25,000 for BC Cancer Agency by January 31st 2010. Started by Trish Caddy, a Uvic undergraduate from Nanaimo BC, the project seeks out 11 bold, confident women to pose with Caddy nude and unairbrushed in a 2010 calendar. If they can can raise $25,000 for BC Cancer Agency by the end of January, all 12 women (Caddy included) will publicly shave their heads for cancer and donate everything they can to Locks of Love, an organization that makes wigs for children who’ve lost their hair due to illness.
